Built is the 1950’s, our Red Cabin is a 350 sqft studio that is an cozy retreat from the bustle of the city. Set in a pine tree forest with views of the mountains, this cabin will make you feel miles away from all your worries.
When you arrive you will see our covered porch, which is the entry way into the cabin. This porch is perfect for sitting and listening to the sounds of nature and enjoying the serenity of the area. This porch can also be used a store room during your stay for coolers, lake/river going toys and/or bikes.
The cabin comes with a coffee maker, microwave, small refrigerator and toaster oven. In addition to these Kitchenette items, there is a large BBQ are just outside the Red Cabin that boasts a pit BBQ, for long slow wood burning BBQ, and a half barrel BBQ, which is standard Charcoal.
Once inside the cabin you will see a small sitting area and the Kitchenette area. This cabin comes equipped with both an AC and a heater. During winter many people have enjoyed a fire to warm the cabin in the small pot belly stove. This is one of two ways to heat the cabin. If you are more comfortable with a heater instead of a fire, our window AC unit is also a heater. We provide 1 bundle of wood with each stay, but additional wood will need to be purchased after arrival.
Just past the Kitchenette area you will find the Queen sized bed and Bathroom.
The Bathroom is right off the sleeping space and has a toilet, shower and sink area that includes a medicine cabinet.
